L.A’s Historic Neighborhoods – San Marino, Ca.

July 26th, 2013

Went to lunch with a friend today at a great little spot called Julienne in San Marino Ca. http://www.juliennetogo.com/ After lunch we agreed to take a drive around the area and enjoy all the gorgeous homes.

I had been to San Marino before and have always known it to be one of the most beautiful and affluent areas of Los Angeles. However, I work and live closer to the west side of Los Angeles and as a result had lost touch with this part of the city. I wish I could have taken better pictures but these are the best ones taken from my phone, hope you enjoy.

For a real treat pick a day to visit on your own, the expansive homes bordered by acres of green lawns, gardens and wide tree lined streets will leave you dreaming of the pageantry. Also, this is home to the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens not to be missed http://www.huntington.org .  For information on San Marino follow this link  http://www.cityofsanmarino.org/about.htm or Google San Marino, California.
